We are currently seeking a General Construction Laborer. You will assist the job foreman and strive to provide top notch assistance on various jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing work truck for the days activities such as loading material, obtaining proper tools and equipment, securing machinery to trailers
- Digging trenches in preparation for conduit to be installed
- Operating and general maintenance/cleaning of machinery, tools, & equipment
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
- Pulling conductors
- Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties
- Pouring and finishing small concrete pours; less than 1 cubic yard
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction, concrete work, or other related fields
- Familiarity with job site safety requirements that lead to a safe working environment
- Familiarity with the proper PPE needed for the application at hand that leads to zero accidents
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
**This is a full time position. Normal hours are 7AM-4PM Monday thru Friday. Overtime is rare but 40 hours is guaranteed each week with the exception of inclement weather.
