Job Description

Now hiring for Office Administrative Assistant positions in Biloxi, MS. We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our growing company.  If you work well on a team, as well as independently, and are organized, detail-oriented, and good at time management, this could be a great position for you.

Responsibilities

  • Client management: Answering and directing phone calls, sending emails, and greeting visitors
  • Scheduling: Organizing and scheduling appointments, meetings, and tasks
  • Communication: Writing and distributing emails, memos, letters, and forms
  • Filing: Creating and maintaining filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Bookkeeping: Managing expenses and tracking income
  • Travel: Booking travel arrangements
  • Supplies: Ordering office supplies and researching new deals and suppliers
  • Policies: Updating and maintaining office policies and procedures
  • Reports: Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and submitting and reconciling expense reports
  • Support: Providing general support to visitors and acting as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Confidential information: Handling sensitive information and storing, retrieving, and shredding confidential documents according to established office protocols 
  • Answer phones on a multi-line system; direct calls, take messages
  • Fill out work orders from customer requests
  • Greet walk-in customers and professional assist
  • Match purchase orders with invoices
  • Learn to key in to QuickBooks (can be trained but a plus if prior experience)

Employment Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Dependable
  • Punctual; Hours of Operation 7am-4pm, Monday thru Friday
  • Valid MS Drivers License
  • No previous felonies or criminal misdemeanors
  • People skills

Pay

  • $14 – $15 per hour; paid bi-weekly
  • Annual profit sharing performance bonuses paid in December
